Shanghai Sightseeing Bus Center is a self-aid Tourist Center Specially set up by Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administrative Commission for the Cenvenience of Making Tours by Individual Chinese and Foreign Tourist.

The Shanghai Sightseeing Bus Center, located under the no. 5 staircase at Gate 12 of the Shanghai Stadium (Tianyaoqiao Lu 666; tel. 021/6426-5555), runs 10 in-town sightseeing bus lines, and multiple tours, both guided and unguided, to destinations like Tongli, Nanxun, Suzhou, and Hangzhou, but tour guides speak Chinese only.

Shanghai Sightseeing Bus Center mainly offers one-day tours. Tourists may choose their return dates for some of the tours. Such forms will be gradually put in to popular practice to enable tourists to really enjoy themselves in self-aid tours. Whole-trip guide service will be provided in some tours for senior tourists from other cities and provinces. Shanghai One-day Tour Travel Service in the center can provide whole-trip guide service on request.

The main branch of it is at Shanghai Stadium area. However, due to security reasons for the Olympics, 12 of whose football matches will be held in the stadium, the main branch has been moved to No.2,491 Zhongshan No.2 South Rd. temporarily.
