How You Know You’ve Spent Two Months in China

You know you’ve spent 2 months in China when…

- You nod emphatically at everything someone says … particularly when you don’t understand what they are saying.

- You think that 34 degrees and 90 per cent humidity is a beautiful day to go for a walk.

- You see pedestrians crossing the street you speed up and swerve, purposefully, in their general direction.

- You think it is perfectly acceptable to barter for Marc Jacobs bags at Holt Renfrew.

- You think that stopping for red lights is for suckers.

- Paying more than $30 for a 90-minute massage throws you into a blind rage.

- You can’t drive without randomly honking, especially when it’s completely unnecessary.

- You fully expect taxi drivers to drop you off approximately 10 miles from the location you asked for.

- You think that “good English TV” consists of watching 1980s Burt Reynolds movies (over and over and over again).

- You can no longer go shopping unless you have people yelling “hey lady” at you and dragging you into their stores.
